Oil pressure warning flashed once, now I'm scared to drive it

Driving home last night the oil pressure warning flickered on for a second then went off again, and it hasn't come back since, but I can't stop thinking about it. The oil level is fine, I checked that immediately, so it's either a sensor on its way out or something more serious in the pump. I know these warnings sometimes mean nothing and sometimes mean your engine is about to destroy itself, so I'm in that horrible in between place of not knowing. I live near Green Community so I've been looking for the Best Volkswagen repair workshop near Green Community, but I want somewhere that'll actually investigate properly instead of just resetting the light and sending me on my way. Has anyone had a one off oil pressure warning and what did it turn out to be? I'd much rather pay for a proper check than gamble on a flickering light.
