Tourists find the traditional dress of Jammu and Kashmir fascinating because it reflects the valley’s culture and lifestyle. Pherans, turbans, scarfs and silver jewels can be found in the local markets and numerous photography studios allow photography tourists to be photographed their customary Kashmiri clothes. As a tourist, it would be like experiencing the culture to wear a pharan and take away Kashmir bundled tea or hang around in the garden.
