Hypercholesterolemia is often called a "silent threat" because it develops without obvious symptoms, unlike diabetes, which may present with signs like excessive thirst or frequent urination. It is similar to the tip of an iceberg—what we see or feel is minimal, but the underlying risk is vast and dangerous. With modern sedentary lifestyles, unhealthy eating habits, and rising stress levels, hypercholesterolemia has become increasingly common. Regular health check-ups, a balanced diet, and an active lifestyle are crucial to detecting and managing this hidden risk before it leads to severe complications.
