A Bengaluru techie lost ₹1.46 lakh in a fake IPL ticket scam ahead of the RCB vs CSK match after being lured by an Instagram seller promising VIP access, food coupons, and extra perks. The fraudster posed as a stadium official, demanded multiple payments including deposits and add-ons, and even shared fake confirmations. The victim later found no tickets at the venue and filed a police complaint as authorities began investigating the cyber fraud case.
