Cherry Blossom Shopping Spree in Adopt Me!: A Guide to Making the Most of the Event
If you're an avid Adopt Me! player, you're likely aware of the current Cherry Blossom Festival event, and with just a few days left, now is the perfect time to make the most of your cherry blossoms before the event ends. Whether you're looking to buy adorable pets, collect unique accessories, or spend your hard-earned blossoms wisely, this guide will walk you through some key strategies to maximize your spending and secure some valuable in-game items.
How to Collect Cherry Blossoms: AFK Grinding and More
The Cherry Blossom Festival brings plenty of new items to Adopt Me!, including pets, accessories, and the ever-popular cherry blossom currency. If you want to make a real dent in the event, you'll need to stock up on cherry blossoms.
The new AFK area has been a game-changer for players looking to earn blossoms without actively participating in the game. Simply log in, leave your character idle, and the game will automatically generate cherry blossoms over time. I’ve been doing this on both my main and alt accounts, and I’ve accumulated a whopping 3 million blossoms! This method lets you stack up blossoms passively, allowing you to spend them more freely when the time comes.
What to Buy With Your Cherry Blossoms
Now that you've got a nice stockpile of cherry blossoms, it’s time to start shopping. The event offers a ton of cool items, but it’s important to focus on what gives you the most value for your blossoms. Here are a few things I recommend spending on:
1. Limited-Time Pets
The event features some truly unique pets that can only be obtained during this festival. One standout pet is the Moth, which is absolutely stunning. If you’re aiming for a mega version of this pet, you’ll need to purchase 16 of them. It can be a costly investment—almost a million cherry blossoms for just one mega pet—but the moth is definitely worth it, especially for collectors.
If you're looking to buy Adopt Me pets for sale during the event, focusing on these limited-time animals will ensure that your collection stays up-to-date. I also grabbed a few Kappa Kids to make a neon version, though I'm still unsure whether I’ll push for a mega.
If you're after something rarer, the Crow is another pet I’ve been eyeing for my alt account, as it looks amazing in its mega form. Though it’s a bit pricey (especially when you're looking to collect 16), it’s a fun challenge to aim for that mega version.
2. Accessories and Strollers
For players who love to customize their pets, the Cherry Blossom Festival brings a range of accessories. One of my favorites is the Cherry Blossom Hang Glider, which is both adorable and functional. It’s a great way to show off your pet while gliding around the map.
Additionally, don't overlook the event’s limited-edition strollers, bikes, and pet wear. Some of the pet accessories might seem like small purchases, but if you’re looking to complete your collection or make your pet look extra stylish, they’re definitely worth considering. I personally picked up the Sakura Scythe and a few cute pet hats just because I couldn’t resist.
3. Boxes and Stickers
For those of us who enjoy the thrill of mystery, the Cherry Blossom Festival has boxes to open. Each box contains a random chance of getting some of the rarest pets in the game. I spent quite a bit of my cherry blossoms on these boxes and was lucky enough to snag a Primal Kai Junior and a few Toxic Kai Juniors. While the odds can be tricky (especially for the 1% chances like the Scorching Kai Junior), opening boxes is a fun and exciting way to potentially earn rare pets.
Another collectible item worth grabbing is the animated stickers. These are purely for cosmetic purposes, but they add a fun, personal touch to your collection. If you’re into collecting stickers like I am, this is a perfect opportunity to stock up.
Mega and Neon Pets: A Quick Guide
One of the most rewarding aspects of the Cherry Blossom Festival is the opportunity to create Neon and Mega Neon pets. For example, I had the chance to create a Neon Sakura Spirit and a Neon Cabb from the pets I bought, which made all that cherry blossom grinding feel worth it.
Creating these special versions of pets is a lengthy process, but it's incredibly satisfying when you finally see your pets glow with those special colors. Plus, if you're aiming to buy Adopt Me pets for future Neons or Megas, consider how many of each pet you'll need. With 16 pets required for a Mega Neon, it's essential to budget your cherry blossoms carefully if you’re going for these rarer versions.
Should You Buy Adopt Me Pets From Other Players?
While the Cherry Blossom Festival brings a lot of new items, some players may want to speed up their collection or purchase specific pets. If you’re in a hurry, you can buy Adopt Me pets from other players or marketplaces like U4GM, which can sometimes be a quicker route to securing the pets you want.
However, I’d recommend trying to earn pets directly through the event, as it keeps the experience fresh and rewarding. That said, if you’ve already spent all your cherry blossoms and want to focus on finishing up your collection, buying from others could be a viable option.
A Word of Caution: Don’t Go Overboard on Boxes
One thing to keep in mind is the temptation to spend all your cherry blossoms on boxes. As fun as it is to open them, the value isn’t always guaranteed, and you might end up with more common pets than you want. It’s easy to get carried away with opening hundreds of boxes, but if you're aiming for specific pets like the Primal Kai Junior or Scorching Kai Junior, be sure to balance your spending. Stickers and accessories are fun, but don't let them distract you from your bigger goals.
The Cherry Blossom Festival is a fantastic event in Adopt Me!, offering plenty of opportunities to collect rare pets, accessories, and unique items. By using AFK grinding, shopping smartly, and focusing on limited-time pets and accessories, you can make the most out of your cherry blossoms. Whether you’re aiming for a Mega Neon pet or just looking to add a few cute items to your collection, this event offers something for everyone.
